This workshop will begin with information about what interspecies telepathic communication is, how it works and how you might already be using it with your animal companions. Janet will guide you through interactive exercises teaching you how to send and receive messages telepathically and you will experience life through the eyes of an animal. Finally you will send information to an animal and receive back the animal's thoughts, images, feelings, messages, etc.

  Basic 2 Day Animal Communication Workshop  

Reawaken and acknowledge your ability to communicate with animals. Janet will lead you through the basic steps with guided meditations, enlightening discussion and telepathic exercises.

This two-day workshop will give you an overview of what animal communication is and will teach you how you already communicate with your animal companions, animal friends and even wild animals. Your understanding of animals will deepen as you discover how they view the world. You will learn how to quiet and focus your mind, opening the channel between you and the animals as you send information and receive back from them their thoughts, images, feelings, messages, etc. This is an amazing heart to heart, mind to mind and soul to soul connection. Animals can touch our hearts like nothing else. They have the ability to give unconditional love and compassion. Animals are amazing and wonderful teachers. At the completion of the workshop you are likely to see and understand animals in a very different way.

Day 1   You will be introduced to the basics of telepathic communication with animals. Learn how you already communicate with animals telepathically.  Learn how to experience the animals' perspective and see through their eyes.  Enjoy meditations and interactive exercises that will show you how to open your heart and connect to a animal heart to heart as you learn how to send and receive communication. Deepen your communion with all of life.

Day 2   Learn how to quiet and focus your mind when being with animals. Practice opening the channel to get across to animals and to receive what they communicate telepathically in thoughts, images, impressions, feelings, messages and other ways that one may receive. You will learn how to communicate with an animal at a distance as well as practice with animals that are present.

After taking the workshop you will be invited to join the Animal Paradise Student Practice Yahoo group where you will be able to join other students to practice your new communication skills with each others animal companions. You will also be invited to join Janet for a once a month free tele-conference open only to Animal Paradise - Communication & Healing students.

Advanced I - The Deepening

This class is for those who have completed the Basic 2 Day Animal Communication course and wish to continue to deepen their connection with animals. Leave the hustle and bustle of your day to day life behind for a few days and connect deeply with all that is. This class is for those who want more knowledge, direction and inspiration to deepen their connection and experience.

As you continue to open your heart to heart connection with animals and all that is, you will gain more experience, knowledge, guidance and inspiration. You will learn from the master teachers: the animals themselves. Janet will guide you, but the animals will teach you. We won't stop there. That is just the icing on the cake. As we continue to go deeper you will learn how to open to all that is, including domestic and wild animals, plants, trees, and all of creation. This will be a weekend of fun and surprises. So you have completed the Basic 2 day Animal Communication Workshop and you would like more practice. Maybe you are not feeling confident enough to participate in the student practice group on-line. Maybe you feel that you are not being challenged by the student practice group on-line. This is the class for you.

This course consists of 4 lessons and corresponding homework assignments. Lessons will be sent to you via email once a week. Each lesson will help you deepen your connection with animals as you learn what ways you receive information from the animal best. Each week you will practice with different animals, building your confidence as well as your ability to connect with the animals on a very deep level in any situation. This course is tailored to each individuals needs. 

You will send the homework to Janet via email along with any questions or issues that may come up. You will receive feedback from Janet via email and the next lesson will be sent to you. After completing all of the homework assignments you will receive a certificate of completion.

Reiki and Animal Reiki training

Janet Dobbs had trained as Reiki Master/teacher in many branches of Reiki. April 2007 she trained with Frans Stiene (International House of Reiki, Sydney, Australia www.reiki.net.au ) and chooses to now teach a more traditional Japanese form of Reiki called Usui Reiki Ryoho. Always feeling that something was missing in the teachings of the various branches of Reiki that she studied, Janet found what she had been seeking in this more traditional form of Reiki. A group of 30+ Reiki teachers and advanced level students attended the April 2007 class taught by Frans Stiene. All students were searching for more in their teaching and practices. "As a group we were all transformed by the teachings and our energy level reached levels that we could only dream of. The new teachings were so simple. The experience changed my life, the way I practice Reiki sessions for both humans and animals, and the way that I teach my Reiki workshops. I am happy and honored to be able to share these teachings with others." said Janet.

Animal Paradise - Communication & Healing, LLC is happy to be offering this series of Reiki workshops. This series of Reiki workshops is for both humans and animals. You can read about Reiki, but until you experience it for yourself, either receiving a treatment or giving one, you will never know what it actually is. Each person has a different experience. The most common effect is a deep relaxation. Many of us are filled with stress from our day to day living experience. Stress is a big cause of disease. If you can relax, you can heal yourself. The same applies to our animal companions.

Reiki deepens the connection and relationship between humans and their animal companions. Reiki and animal communication work hand in hand but they are not the same. It is suggested that anyone that uses Reiki with animals at least attend an introductory class in animal communication at some point. Being able to ask an animal how they feel and if they would like a treatment at that time, and to let them know that they can take as much or as little of the Reiki energy as they need, before beginning a Reiki treatment, empowers the animal, some for the first time in their life. It may be helpful to use many of the skills that one can learn in the basic two day animal communication course such as being able to tell where an animal may be hurting or uncomfortable.  Many issues that may come up in an animal communication session can be helped and/or supported by Reiki. Reiki Level I

This Reiki Level I class is for animal people who want to deepen their relationship with animals and learn ways to heal the animals in their lives as well as themselves. This class will give you an overview of Reiki and you will learn the differences and similarities between Reiki for humans and Reiki for animals. (Reiki is Reiki. The difference is the approach used when working with animals.)

Through lecture, enlightening discussion, exercises and practice, Janet will lead you through the basic steps. Students will experience Reiki energy and learn different ways that Reiki can be used as a healing tool for both humans and animals. Upon completion of the two day course you will be able to do a Reiki self treatment, hands on healing for friends and family and be able to offer Reiki to your own animal companion's), other animals and even wild animals.

Day 1  Participants will learn the history of Reiki and what it is. You will learn what energy feels like and how it flows. You will learn how your energy feels and how your partner's energy feels. Meditations or exercises will be learned to increase the energy within yourself before giving a treatment. You will receive two level I Reiki attunements (Reiju), learn how to do a Reiki self treatment and practice giving and receiving a full Reiki treatment (to a human). 

Day 2 Students will continue to build the healing Reiki energy, building upon what was learned in Day 1. You will receive two more Reiki attunements (Reiju). We will learn the differences when offering Reiki to an animal and when working with humans. There will be practice offering Reiki to animals one on one and as a group. Students receive a manual and upon completion will receive the Reiki level one practitioner certificate for Usui Reiki.

Reiki I at Traveller's Rest Equine Elders Sanctuary

Animal Reiki always begins by first asking the animal if they would like some Reiki now and then allowing them to control the treatment. This photo shows a level I Reiki class offering some horses at TREES Reiki. One of the horses in the walk-in had just arrived at the sanctuary and really didn't have a clue what humans were doing just standing in their pasture.

The horses began to come out to see what we were doing and were the energy was coming from. They had been taking it while they were in the walk-in shelter, but came out for more.

As the students continued to stay in their place offering Reiki, the horses went from student to student accepting the Reiki energy.

This class is for people that have completed Level I Reiki. (See above) In this class you will continue on your healing path with Reiki and continue your work with animals. The focus of this class is on more advanced meditations and Reiki practices. This course is unique because we focus on both humans and animals. 

Day 1  Participants will receive the three level II attunements and will be taught three Reiki symbols and their mantras. Building on what was learned in Level I, students will learn more exercises to help increase the flow and level of energy in themselves. We will practice group energy healing, long distance healing and much more. Students receive the level II manual.

Day 2 Students will learn how to offer long distance Reiki to animals as well as continue their practice and experience with in-person Reiki with animals. Level II students will develop their intuition when working with Reiki.  Upon completion of day two students will receive the Level II Reiki practitioner certificate.

Reiki Level III - Shinpiden

This class is for people that have completed Reiki level II.

Day 1 is Reiki III Shinpiden training and attunement. Students wishing to go on to this level will receive the master level attunement.  Students will be requested to work on human and animal cases between Reiki II and III. Self-healing is an important part of supporting both animal and human clients. Students are encouraged to give healing sessions to each other, and to seek additional assistance as needed, to help improve all aspects of their lives, spiritually, physically, emotionally, etc. Students will be required to practice the 5 parts of the system of Reiki: the 5 precepts, meditations (techniques), symbols and mantras, hands on healing,  and attunements (reiju).

Day 2 Students will learn to give attunements or reiju (spiritual blessing) and continue learning various meditations and exercises, continuing to build on the energy level created each day.

Day 3 This class will focus on working with various animal species as well as companion animals, wild animals and all that is. Students will experience various sessions with animals. Students will be requested to work on animal cases between Reiki II and III classes. These cases will include work with family and friends animals as well as various animal shelters and rescue groups. Upon completion of the class, students will be certified Reiki III (master level) practitioners.

Animal Reiki Correspondence Workshop 

(coming in 2010)

Requirement: Must be at least Reiki I

If you are at least level I Reiki and would like to deepen your Reiki practice with animals, this is the course for you. The lessons and homework will give you a foundation, helping you to practice giving Reiki treatments to a variety of animals. With each weeks homework assignment you will gain the experience of successful Reiki treatments, giving you confidence to practice Reiki in any situation with an animal.

You will receive a series of 5 lessons along with homework. Lessons will be sent to you via email once a week along with the corresponding homework assignments. You will send the homework to Janet via email along with any questions or issues that may come up. You will receive feedback from Janet via email and the next lesson will be sent to you. After completing all of the homework assignments you will receive a certificate of completion.
